Mountain Elopement Inspiration In Ireland

Being asked to speak at The Feckin Workshop in Dingle, Co. Kerry was an absolute honour, but when I heard the lineup of speakers, I was blown away to share a stage (or more appropriately, a seat around the fire) with these incredibly talented artists.

The four days were filled with learning, sharing and developing each of us as better photographers and videographers, but the conference went way further than that. It was more like a spiritual retreat, and this intimacy and connection that the founders Sean and Kate created was so special, and felt by each of us who attended.

I would like to thank each of the speakers Lukas Piatek, James Frost, Froydis Geithus, Cinematictide, Dore Concepts...and of course, Sean and Kate for inviting me to be part of the community. Thanks so much to each and every one of you that I spoke to, shared pints with, ate breakfast with, hiked with, got wet with (although we got great weather...for Ireland) over the four days - thank you all for being so warm and welcoming and just brilliant craic, as we say here in Ireland. Above are a few shots I captured while watching Froydis Geithus work her magic.

And one of the biggest thanks has to go to Christin and Gareth from The Martins Photography who were our brave and beautiful models over the four days. These two legends braved the bitterly cold, wet and often hostile conditions of the Irish landscape while looking spectacular and in love…completely unphased by the group of wildly enthusiastic photographers and videographers who captured every move.
