Be true to yourselves as a couple, discuss what you both would like and want from the day. Do everything you want, don’t have regrets as this is one day you will never get back.

As soon as wedding is mentioned the prices of things soar but in the end to have it perfect it is worth every penny. I would do it all over again in the morning. I know a lot of people say this but your day just goes in so fast, so take a deep breath and try and take all that you can in.

Remember to take time out for yourselves!
— Denise gives this advice for couples planning a wedding.

I first met Denise and Stephen when I was filming Denise's sister's wedding a couple of years ago. Denise comes from such a genuinely warm, welcoming family, who know how to enjoy a party! Needless to say, I connected with them instantly so when the email from Denise came through I was ecstatic to be spending time with them all again.

For Denise and Stephen, having Ballymagarvey Village as their wedding venue was always top pick. In Denise's own words, she says this; "Deciding on a home or abroad wedding was hard.  Italy is our favourite country having visited many cities and we would have loved to get married there.  Having experienced two weddings quite close together - one at home and one in Italy, when it came to making the decision I think we both felt nothing could beat a home wedding, and for us nothing compared to Ballymagarvey the venue my sister got married in 2014.   We instantly fell in love with Ballymagarvey, it’s such a unique, private venue. "

Should I book a wedding video? Denise and Stephen have the following words for anyone still deciding...

Don’t even think about it just book one and you will never look back.  For me, every time I watch our video we relive the wedding day.  It goes in so fast that the things you miss or do not see Story of Eve captured.  I knew from the moment I was engaged I wanted one - there was no doubt in my mind.  Photographs are fabulous and I fell in love with my photographer Paula O' Hara (who is actually Michael's sister). I knew she was the one I wanted when I seen her pictures of my friend’s wedding a few years ago.  But video is that extra bit special as you actually hear voices and capture those extra special movements of the day.  After I had seen Story of Eve's work on my sister’s wedding I knew that Michael was what I wanted for my day.  Having Paula and Michael to capture our wedding was great - the brother and sister worked so well together complimenting each other and letting each be creative throughout.  The wedding dream team in my eyes!

Denise and Stephen's Favourite moment of the wedding day...

Saying our vows for me was my favourite memory.  That feeling in my stomach of nerves rolled into happiness.  I love how Michael captured these especially in the film - it just gives me chills watching and listening to them.  Another favourite was walking into our reception hall in Ballymagarvey Village and seeing all the people we love cheering us in was overwhelming.
