This shoot was something very different from a lot of my other work, and when Paula O'Hara asked me to be involved I loved the idea of capturing the elegant movements of the ballet dance.
Our dancer, Hannah Blevins, was fantastic and it was amazing how silent the whole team were once she started to move. The backdrop of Gosford Castle's decadence and the light pouring in through the grand windows was spectacular.
Paula O'Hara's photographs combined with Alise Taggart's subtle styling capture the true essence of the dance. There was a Black Swan theme throughout the shoot - both haunting and ethereal, so it's well worth having a look at the full feature over on Paula's website - Dance of Love / Bridal Editorial shoot
Below are a few screenshots from the footage captured, as well as a peek from behind the scenes. Paula's beautiful photography has also been featured in Volume Four of BASH Magazine (below). We had a fantastic team of people collaborating on this shoot, who not only worked their magic, but were great fun to be around on the day.
